Halloween Special! Vampires!

There are many things you can do for Halloween, including having a party and watching horror movies all night long! So to top my Halloween off, I'm going to write a post about my Essential Vampire Movies List! I usually have a taste for classic movies or films that have well deveopled stories, plots, and characters-but that dosen't mean I don't like Horror movies-I love them! Expecially Vampire movies.

1. Interview With The Vampire
Film version for author, Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire it tells the story of Lestat and Louis. One of the best vampire films-and films-ever! This movie is a legend you would surely want to have in your collection!

2. John Carpenter's Vampires
Anything this director makes is perfect, especially his western-vampire movie about a slayer hunting for ancient vampire. Did I mention that the soundtrack to the movie is brillant? This movie is both sexy, scary, and dark.

3. The Lost Boys
Classic cult 80's vampire movie. It's no wonder Goth-n-Roll, band The 69 Eyes named one of they're hit songs after the film.

4. Blood and Roses
1960's French Vampire Film thats chic and exotic

5. Dracula 200
Cool modern day vampire film with a rock music soundtrack-sets a great tone for any horror film!

6.  Queen of the Damned
Another Anne Rice verison, film has great scenes and an even greater soundtrack.

8. Underworld
All three of them! Vampires+Action+Trech Coats=cool!

My Review of Wednesday's Album

I bought, "Calling All Corpses" the day it came out, on October 11th, which so happened to also be my birthday. I was very pleased with this album! I was a little nervous about hearing it, at first, because Wednesday hasn't released any new material in a long time, but I can honestly say that "Calling All Corpses" tops my list in the best albums released this year. It's sleazy, punk, goth, rocknroll-all those things that make Wednesday's music good, but it also reminded me of The Cramps. Wednesday 13 is one of the few good artists around still doing the whole horror-themed punk genre. And its ghoul at its best.

Top Favorite Songs:
1.) Miss Morgue
Beautiful love song about a girl with "long black hair, and pale white skin"

2.)  Bad At Being Human
THIS SONG JUST ROCKS! There's no other way of putting it!

3.) London After Midnight
"I wanna get loaded, I wanna break some stuff....I'm lookin for action, I'm lookin for trouble.." The coolest lyrics ever! This song is the perfect mixture of sleaze and punk rock. I just love the way it starts! And I love his reference to London!

4.) Calling All Corpses
Title of the album, and the most perfect song for Halloween....or a night ride out. A TRUE horror punk anthem.

I know that's Joey-but I just love this picture with Wednesday in it-the detail in his tattoos are beautiful!

I NEED THIS!
